Constantine is a really important character in the timeline of art history. He is the one who signed the Edict of Milan and not only legalized Christianity, but implemented it as the official religion of his empire (The Roman Empire). Above is a notable work called the Constantine Colossus, which is only a fragment of the giant statue of Constantine. You can also see the hand and other parts of the statue that made up the giant portrait of him.
