We will be moving on to the Art of the Pacific - chapter 27 in Stokstad.
Please read this by Monday 9/26. I will be posting homework questions on Friday 9/23, and will collect responses next week. Read it, you will need to reference it on your test! :)
Here is a powerpoint that was created by another art history teacher that you should look at regarding form, function, content & context. It will help you tremendously in your analysis.
HI Everyone,
I'll be back tomorrow to help you through some of the test preparations for your first test which will take place on Tuesday. It shouldn't be too bad since we are only discussing 11 works. This should be one of the easiest tests and since its your first, won't build off of any prior content areas. The structure of the test will be: 20 multiple choice 5 identifications 2 short answer 1 long answer Tomorrow I will go over sample long answer and short answer questions to discuss style and structure of how the questions will be asked. We will also review the EQs and EKs from content area I (which I posted earlier). We will also go over the homework that you should have already done, and peer review it. I'm looking forward to coming back. :D ~Mrs. V Here is a great article on the Anthropomorphic Stele from your required 250.
