Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to remind you all that you're expected to keep up with the readings in our book as well as the resources on Khan Academy. I am giving you a fair warning that some of what is online on Khan Academy will be referenced to on your test. :) https://www.khanacademy.org/humanities/art-history/art-oceania HI Everyone,
This is the next three months and where we need to be (barring any sort of setback) by Winter Break. We have a lot to do and we need to pick up the pace a bit. I know things have been off to a bit of a slow start, but get ready to attack this! We need to get to the Renaissance by Winter Break, and in order to do that, we need to do a lot of reading at home, and a lot of studying and preparation at home. I've agreed to put the Pacific Test off because of the days off we have, but you guys need to make sure you KNOW this and are ready to discuss it, write about it, and test. :D http://www.mfa.org/collections/object/yam-cult-head-yina-4732

Please read this by Monday 9/26. I will be posting homework questions on Friday 9/23, and will collect responses next week. Read it, you will need to reference it on your test! :)
Here is a powerpoint that was created by another art history teacher that you should look at regarding form, function, content & context. It will help you tremendously in your analysis.
